THE ROLE

  • Administration of daily payments, including:
  • Processing royalty payments via a bespoke royalty management system (RMS)
  • Posting of payments to excel spreadsheets
  • To upkeep and maintain the general ledger
  • Invoicing for client fees
  • Maintenance of outstanding invoice list
  • Chasing of outstanding client VAT amounts
  • Inter-account client VAT and tax transfers
  • Maintenance of client individual records
  • Provision of client ledgers and bank statements to accountants
  • Calculation of annual client earnings and production of client earnings reports\
  • Response to the client and in-house queries
  • Foreign payments – preparing fee statements and organizing payments in foreign currencies
  • Filing and shredding.
  • Stationary orders

THE CANDIDATE

  • We are looking for someone with:
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Must be able to complete all tasks within the agreed deadline
  • Efficient and accurate numeracy skills
  • Good writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Understanding of VAT
  • Exposure to accounting databases
  • Comfortable working (and multi-tasking) in a small team
  • Previous experience in royalties is desirable but not essential
