Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Roles may vary significantly from office to office or day to day, but representative duties include:
- Provides input regarding day-to-day office operations
- Coordinates office activities, such as word processing, filing, mail, or receptionist; although typically refers hire/fire decisions to the office or regional manager
- Routinely participates in management decisions for region or office
- Assists with project correspondence and proposals
- Coordinates payment of invoices
- Conducts new employee orientation
- Coordinates Human Resource-related activities
- Maintains regional and management calendars (office conference room key contact)
- Composes routine or complex documents
- Acts as liaison for IT and ESH and S activities
- Coordinates timesheet activities
- Reviews expense reports
- Takes care of day-to-day office equipment maintenance; coordinates repair
- Acts in the capacity of a “lead person”
Management Responsibilities
