Overview

We’re a growing team, and as we scale, so does our need to focus on expanding our Professional Services team. You’ll be joining a people-focused company, and as a Vice President, Service Sales and Business Development you’ll be a senior sales leader responsible for managing a Services Business Development team and partnering with software sales leadership.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Duties include optimizing profitable revenue growth, client engagement and satisfaction, pipeline development and forecast management, budgeting, and expense management.
  • You’ll be leading a transformation by developing a go-to-market approach and leading the selling efforts for services engagements. Including Managed Services and Project (Implementation) Services.
  • You and your team will be addressing critical questions on the prospects mind, including how soon and how sure. Your role is as a trusted guide, during the sales process, providing proof that we will guide them through the implementation.
  • You and your team will partner with Software AE’s on new logo pursuits where you and your team will lead the services sale.
  • You and your team will either partner with existing account AE’s, or pursue independently, opportunities to upsell managed service programs with a unique account strategy.
  • Duties also include recruiting, developing and managing services sales people, supporting the selling process through direct engagement with strategic account sales teams, leveraging technology and improving processes.
  • Measures of success include meeting or exceeding targets for services sales bookings, growing pipeline, smooth hand-offs to delivery, and improving client satisfaction.
  • The ideal candidate has led and managed services sales teams engaging Fortune 500-calibre strategic accounts in the technology and/or consulting services industries.
  • A consistent track record of sales target achievement is critical for this role.
  • Experience in and commitment to executing with precision, high-performance and disciplined sales management, specifically in the areas of forecast accuracy, CRM usage and pipeline development and progression is a critical per-requisite.
  • Recruit, manage and coach sales professionals to deliver profitable growth

THE SKILL SET

  • Minimum 10+ years of enterprise software and at least 5 years of services sales experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a services sales team in public Cloud / SaaS applications.
  • A curiosity of learning our solutions and services methodologies and offering insight on how to improve how we position to prospects
  • A gritty and tenacious demeanor with a willingness to lead and also work alongside the field teams
  • Recruiting, managing and coaching high-potential services sales professionals
  • Experience selling sell complex services for enterprise business applications to business stakeholders ERP, CRM, HCM, SCM.
  • You are self-organized and have a good balance of independence and collaboration.
  • You are outgoing, team-oriented and personable. You know how to roll up your sleeves and get scrappy. You are focused, passionate, and aggressive about exceeding your plan.
  • Experience in or a solid understanding of value-based selling
  • Experience using and managing your business in Salesforce is a plus.
  • CPQ and/or pricing experience in B2B is a big plus.

The national minimum salary is $195,000 a year + commission and benefits. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
