TheWrap is looking for a Marketing Analyst who is equally creative and organized, a true partner to the sales team, eager to deliver ROI for clients, understands the entertainment industry landscape, and has a passion for film and television.
Working with an all-star team, they will create and execute comprehensive plans working closely with sales, marketing, and creative teams along with cross-functional partners in business development, programming, editorial, events, product, and social.
Job Details
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)
- Support the sales team and drive incremental revenue
- Develop sales materials & oversee annual media kit
- Brainstorm RFPs with the sales team and create related marketing materials
- Become an expert on TheWrap: events, product suite, editorial efforts, the industry
- Have a fundamental understanding of TheWrap’s audience using analytics to help identify new revenue streams
- Leverage tools (Google Analytics, Comscore, Parsely) to access audience and site information, analyze data and provide relevant recommendations
- Develop and manage campaigns for events, subscriptions, and general brand awareness
- Creating go-to-market strategies for TheWrap’s portfolio of products.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3-5 years experience in advertising (all platforms), sales marketing, and media, preferably in entertainment or publishing.
- Team player possessing a can-do attitude, a proactive, solution-oriented problem solver, with high energy and a good work ethic.
- Proven track record concepting, developing, and delivering innovative marketing presentations (please provide examples of work)
- An exceptional writer, communicator, and creative thinker
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with excellent time management skills.
- Able to prioritize and multi-task, work under shifting department needs both independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to take on the initiative and follow through on projects
- Thorough knowledge of Office Suite helpful (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, In Design)
- Experience with data, analytics, and media industry reporting tools (Comscore, Google Analytics, Parsely, Adobe, etc.)
- Familiar and comfortable using: Google Creative Suite, Canva, Splash That (event marketing platform), Campaign Monitor (email marketing platform), Adobe Suite
- Knowledge of social media, online display advertising, email marketing, print advertising, and website/landing page best practices.
