We are looking for a fit and attentive security guard to ensure that our property is protected. The security guard is responsible for recording the names of visitors, patrolling the property and apprehending any trespassers. To be successful as a security guard you must be alert and professional.

A good security guard is aware of all visitors to the property and ensures that no inappropriate actions take place. Also known NYC No Experience Jobs as a security officer, security guards are responsible for protecting property or individuals by patrolling and acting as access control for visitors.

As a security guard, you will make sure customers, assets and employees on the premises are safe at all times.   • Assist with compliance of company, local, state and federal safety directives
  • Report safety issues, such as fire hazards, vandalism and suspicious or criminal activity
  • Avert inventory losses by reporting missing items, inconsistencies and damaged property
  • Warn patrons of possible rule-breaking, and eject those who violate rules or cause disturbances
  • Use detection devices to screen individuals for weapons or ensure only authorized employees enter restricted areas
  • Answer the phone when requested or during non-business hours
  • Keep an eye on the entrance and exit to prevent theft and ensure workplace security
