Position Summary

•   Responsible for performing all medical services and procedures with the appropriate physicians, technicians, and nurses in the department to achieve high-quality results.
•   Participate in training of junior staff, CME, and seminars.
•   Work and liaise with nurses and medical staff to maintain the highest professional standards.
•   Assist the head of the department in the coordination of department activities.
•   Provide accurate, timely treatment of diseases in compliance and harmony with the quality management system.

Summary of Main Duties

•   To provide primary vision care by administering eye examinations and to determine whether vision correction is needed with the prescription of eyeglasses or contact lenses
•   To provide vision therapy and low-vision rehabilitation
•   To dispense spectacle prescriptions, fit soft and rigid gas permeable contact lenses
•   To assist in taking patient history, assessing vision, refract, and performing diagnostic and screening tests
•   To check glasses and contact lenses for accuracy and comfort.
•   To assist in Refractive Surgery Procedures (LASIK, PRK, Intracorneal ring segments).
