GIC Real Estate is looking for a suitable candidate to join the team as an Executive Assistant. This role will report to the Managing Director, Real Estate Australia, and his team, to provide secretarial / admin support to a team of investment professionals in our Sydney office.

Responsibilities
- Scheduling and arranging meetings with both internal and external counterparties
- Providing general support to visitors and reception support
- Arranging business trips, which include booking flights, accommodation, and coordinating travel itineraries
- Undertaking administrative duties which include administering claims, managing office, and pantry supplies, handling domestic/international couriers, filing/printing/scanning documents, and other standard administrative matters
- Providing basic IT support and administering system access
- The organizing team and departmental social events
- Writing e-mail, correspondence memos, letters, and forms
- Providing support to investment managers and middle office team on administrative matters relating to our investments, including basic Powerpoint presentations; and collation and organization of information/data
- Providing backup coverage to the other administrative assistants
Requirements
- The ability to use the standard suite of Microsoft tools is a pre-requisite
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant
- Strong interpersonal capabilities, and good verbal and written communication skills
- Maturity in managing relationships and challenging situations
- Organized, detail-oriented, and effective time management ability
- Good problem-solving skills and strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Proactive, flexible, and willing to learn and grow beyond the job description
- Ability to develop a thorough knowledge of the organization quickly
- Ability to work with limited direction from senior professionals and make sound judgments independently
